DCB Joins USSSA Family For 2016
DCB President Matt Berardicelli and USSSA - Maryland State Director Bob Holland agreed to partner for the 2016 season the entire DCB baseball schedule. By doing so all tournaments run by the DCB organization will be qualifiers for USSSA Regional and World Series events. Berardicelli said, "This is a great opportunity for our competing teams to advance to higher level tournaments without having to travel twice to do so. They can play qualifiers locally and travel for advancing tournaments. A cost saving measure for them that will allow most teams and their families to save thousands of dollars in expenses." Holland expressed his excitement to once again bring USSSA baseball to the Delaware market thanks to the new agreement between the two organizations. DCB will hold 9 USSSA sanctioned tournaments in Delaware this coming spring and summer and an additional 3 sanction events in Maryland. Berardicelli added, "The level of excitement I have for the upcoming yearis at an all time high, we have had a great pre season registration period so far and expect to exceed our registration totals from last year by 25% or more. We expect the USSSA partenrship to bring more out of Delmarva teams in to our market and offer our local teams some new competition without expensive travel." DCB -- 12/15/2015
DCB adds 4 new headline venues for 2016 season
We are pleased to add 4 new main venues to our list of locations. We now have access to over 54 fields on the Delmarva Penninsula. We are looking forward to working with Nanticoke, Dover, Berlin, and Harrington Little Leagues, as well as the Delmarva Pony League. We will also utilize Browns Branch Park, Showell Park, Seaford City Fields, and Ocean City Recreation Fields. In addition to those we have access to the Lake Forest and Stephen Decatur High School fields.
One of our goals for this year is to allow teams to play several DCB tournaments at comepletely different locations. That will get you the same great DCB
experience but at a completely different location creating the sense of a totally different tournament experience.
We plan on adding more venues this fall and in 2017 to inprove even more.

DCB SOFTBALL - 2016 GROWTH
DCB Launched its softball division in the fall of 2015 with 2 successful tournaments. in 2016 dcb is planning 7-10 tournaments through the fall. with 2 tournaments scheduled so far for the spring and more to come in the next few weeks. the schedule will be a combination of USSSA and non sanctioned events.
